If you consider that gambling has become problematic for you or you believe that you are at risk of developing a gambling problem, with Football Index you have the ability to Self-Exclude yourself from future participation.

You can opt for definite self-exclusion from 6 months up to 5 years. You can self-exclude under the Responsible Gaming controls and limits section under Your Account.

Upon receipt of your self-exclusion request, we will take the necessary measures to block your account for any gambling activities on our website and any affected 3rd parties while you are self-excluded. Should you request to increase the period of your self-exclusion it will become effective immediately upon its receipt.

Whilst we take the necessary steps to stop all marketing material, we recommend that you uninstall our App from your devices or as a minimum please ensure that you disable all notifications.

We will return your Cash Account Balance as soon as possible, and you will receive an email offering a range of available options for how you would like us to proceed with your portfolio.

If your exclusion is for less than 12 months you can choose to freeze your portfolio for the duration of your exclusion.  You will not be able to access your account during this time and we will not be able to provide you with details relating to the status of your portfolio, however dividends will continue to be credited during the freeze period.

You may select that we provide you with a Cash Out offer up to £500 for the value of your portfolio.  Once an offer is made you will have 72 hours to accept however there is no guarantee that we will make an offer to you.

If neither of the previous options are available or acceptable we will proceed with a Managed Portfolio Sale, it may take up to 12 months for us to liquidate an existing portfolio on your behalf and an administration charge may be applied in line with our Terms of Use. This is to ensure that we can adequately protect the market for other Traders still using the platform. Please note that the value of your portfolio is not static and will fluctuate in line with market movement. You will not be able to access your account and we will not be able to provide you with details relating to the status of your portfolio during this time.

Upon your self-exclusion period expiration, your account will not be automatically re-activated, but only upon your request and will come into effect after a further 24 hours cooling-off period following its receipt. As a further preventative measure, we recommend you consider applying the same safeguard at other gambling operators with whom you hold an account.
